I find all the scrutiny by friends and podcasters make enjoying this titles difficult. I usually take my comics for surface value. Cool characters doing cool things. I don’t worry about continuity and all that other jiberjab. When the mistakes are pointed out I cant help but like the story less. I think I’m going to start sticking to the smaller story archs within ongoing titles. 9/27/2007 8:22:04 PMhttp://comics.2DoNext.com/blogs/no-fun/25/d.aspxread thishttp://comics.2DoNext.com/reviews/read-this/1157/92/d.aspxread this book. if you pick it up as a tpb read the first two atleast. in the second the book really takes off.9/12/2007 2:16:32 PMhttp://comics.2DoNext.com/reviews/read-this/1157/92/d.aspxflight volume 2http://comics.2DoNext.com/reviews/flight-volume-2/1156/76/d.aspxthis tpb contains multiple stories from many writer/ artists. some are good some are through aways. your best bet is to barrow this one from a friend. there is nothing in it that makes me want to own it.8/10/2007 8:16:04 AMhttp://comics.2DoNext.com/reviews/flight-volume-2/1156/76/d.aspx#3http://comics.2DoNext.com/reviews/-3/1155/70/d.aspxthis issue has its moments but its dragging.8/6/2007 2:24:23 PMhttp://comics.2DoNext.com/reviews/-3/1155/70/d.aspxbuy shark-manhttp://comics.2DoNext.com/reviews/buy-shark-man/1153/69/d.aspxBuy Shark-Man. I wasn’t going to get it because I’m not a fan of Templesmith’s art. But the guy behind the counter gave me a free copy. Reading this book, I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a great book and a fun story. They make Hatter M. (the mad hatter) a cool butt kicking character. It didn’t change my mind about Templesmith’s art, but I now know he can draw a clear story. Check out the site for cool art and to see previews. If there is a bad show on TV you don’t watch it. When enough people don’t watch it, it goes away. Then the network looks for a better show. I say if a Spider-Man run is bad, stop buying it. Pick it up again when a new creative team is on the book. 4/24/2007 9:39:24 PMhttp://comics.2DoNext.com/blogs/Are-loyal-fans-killing-comic-books-/17/d.aspxWorld War III, 52, and Countdownhttp://comics.2DoNext.com/blogs/World-War-III--52--and-Countdown/16/d.aspxWorld War III is nothing more than a waist of 10 bucks. I’m not a DC guy (nor am I a Marvel guy). I’ve read 52 every week this year, hoping it would be a good jumping on book to the DCU. I was completely lost while reading world war III. There were a ton of characters I’ve never heard of, doing and talking about things I couldn't fallow. If this is how it is in other DC books ill have to stick to Batman. Will I buy countdown every week this year? No. 52 wasn't good enough to get me to c4/24/2007 9:21:00 PMhttp://comics.2DoNext.com/blogs/World-War-III--52--and-Countdown/16/d.aspxNothing herehttp://comics.2DoNext.com/news/Nothing-here/9/d.aspxSorry folks, our database of comics isn't comprehensive yet.
